Comprehensive Biomechanical Modelling

Generate detailed biomechanical models capturing the complexity of athlete movement in a natural environment. This enables deeper understanding of how athletes move, highlighting areas for improvement while minimizing risk of injury. And it also provides objective feedback for return to play.

HIGHLY VErsatile

Easy to Set Up
Simple to Use

The only equipment you need is your smartphone, a tripod, and five cones–no sensors or bulky hardware required.

Because VueMotion is so easy to use, it won’t cut into valuable coaching time. The intuitive platform makes it possible to capture an entire team for analysis in just a few minutes.

Performance in your pocket

The VueMotion App

The VueMotion iPhone app revolutionizes how coaches capture and analyze athlete video.

VueMotion takes phone-based analysis of sport and human movement to a whole new level.

Achieve 4K 60fps video with optimized indoor and outdoor modes that minimize the motion blur which may be present with standard iPhone camera video recording. Obtaining detailed analysis from the app is easy and intuitive. Select your desired test, add distance and reps, and tag the athlete directly from the app to begin processing analytics. Other features include drawing and annotation, voiceover, timer, video comparison, video and data sharing, and more.

The app gives users the ability to record up to 6 iPhone cameras simultaneously from a single controller device like an iPhone or iPad. This also provides more flexibility when using a single camera, giving users remote video capture control without having to start and stop the video from their phone.

Testimonials

"Having worked in elite sport and biomedical realms for almost 50 years, I have always been on a never-ending search for a platform that addresses the obstacles, logistical choke points and barriers to communication, education and application. Most of my attempts have been derailed by the needed man-hours to implement such platforms and the fluidity of the pragmatic tools utilized in the operational fronts. Another major concern has been ownership and security of data collected. Finally, I have found a group that understands the landscape and challenges. Excited to see this evolve into my daily works and consultancies."

"Propulsion gets a lot of love,  but deceleration can often make or break athletic performance. Assessing declaration strategy and capacity can tell us a lot about how to prepare athletes for these rapid and forceful eccentric changes. Thankful for the collaboration and guidance from Speedworks and VueMotion."

“Geelong Football Club has been using VueMotion for over a year now – I highly recommend it at the elite sport and clinical/medical level! It integrates so well with the other techs we are using, and the service Ryan and the team provide is wonderful.”

"VueMotion has exponentially increased our ability to assess and evaluate our athletes from a kinematic perspective. With the expedited process and short turnaround times, we are able to assess multiple times per week in full team sessions. The analysis and data we get from the platform is used to drive education and intervention with our athletes as well as streamline communication across performance departments. The way you load your tissues in high-speed dynamic movements matters greatly, and we have found no better product to ease the burden of implementing these processes in our daily practice."

"Moving from the lab to the realm of everyday activities, there are Australian startups doing interesting work at the crossroads of health and sport. Companies like VueMotion, who are using computer vision to develop machine learning models that can track kinetic and kinematic data for athletes — everything from joint angles and gait analysis, to the impact force of a foot strike or a hard cut on the football pitch. VueMotion are creating personalized body models. They showed me a demo of a runner whose stride lengths varied from left to right foot with an overlay of kinematic data. With this type of information, trainers and coaches can quickly gain an understanding of how someone moves in a natural environment, make adjustments, then track how their movements change over time — both progressions and regressions — all using video captured from a smartphone.or a platform that addresses the obstacles, logistical choke points and barriers to communication, education and application.

What is an AI credit and what outputs and data does VueMotion provide

An AI credit allows processing AI-powered analysis of a video. The video analysis provides a series of augmented reality videos what show speed, angles, time and step length. One AI credit will also provide individual reports and team reports.

The following measures and outputs are provided for each video analysis:

  • Times and split times speed

  • Average and maximum m/s or k/hr split times

  • Total time

  • Step length (Distance m/cm or y/ft)

  • Step frequency (hz) samples per second

  • Ground contact time (m/s)

  • Flight time/ Air time (m/s)

  • Thigh angular velocity (TAV)

  • Kinograms

What is a PSR credit

A PSR credit is a product and report provided by our partners at Speedworks, a global coach education company based in the United Kingdom. Speedworks delivers coach education to sports professionals worldwide.

PSR stands for Projection, Switching, and Reactivity.

Speedworks also offers education courses to help coaches and practitioners better understand various measures and provide exercise menus for effective interventions. Customers can purchase PSR credits directly from the VueMotion website. After uploading your videos, you can tag the athlete and press the green "P" button for processing.
